It's raining again!!! :D

It's been just about 4 days since the rains are here! And yesterday was the first time that I got wet, willingly! :)

Have you got that feeling inside you to just let go of everything that's bothering you, or that you're pondering about and you just want to feel free?

The rains bring that out in me... I see them and I remember the fun I had last year, roaming about in town on the bike, and enjoying the various scenes from the seaface, the gardens and the roads...

Everything undergoes a change with the season change, it's external as well as internal...

This season, makes me want to cuddle up with my blanket and sleep for long hours of the day... I feel an insane urge to have hot tea and kanda bhaji... I feel like running on the wet roads...

The rains bring out the child in me. :)

Of course, it's flooded, all the drains are choked, it's horrible to walk amidst the filth to work, and more, but that still doesn't take away the beauty of nature, the beauty of having a new season, the beauty of having bhutta on the roads, the pleasure of the cool air after the heat...

No matter what, I love the rains!!

Hope you have fun with them too!

Wish you all a very happy rainy season!

Technical Barriers to Effective Communication!

I am feeling on the top of world, not that generally I don't feel special, but today was a different high!

:)

After ages, I was up against the P.C. with all my brawn, it was later when i began to use my brain, did things really work!

For the ones in the dark, I was trying to install a web cam and get my headphones with the mic in it to work!

Right from fiddling with the speakers, the volume control options, the bloody control panel, to making a thousand (5) test calls, and asking friends to become guinea pigs to help me in the effort, to finally hearing my own voice!

Then to search for the product id (webcam), didn't have the installation cd, so had to google for the driver online, then to download and set up, and then find the right controls on programme to see image clearly, to finally being able to see me!

:)

what a high, what a beautiful feeling, not because i can see me or hear me, but because i know someone else will be!

I feel like i'm on the top of the world right now!!

Rock, Pebbles and Sand - Important Things in Life

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him.

When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2" in diameter. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "Yes."

"Now," said the professor, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things - your family, your partner, your health, your children - things that if everything else w…

Shaitan

So thanks to some prodding from my friend Shri, I decided to go watch this movie today. I'm not upset I did, but I'm certainly not happy. It was sort of like watching Love, Sex aur Dhokha in a way. Graphic, very close to reality, and loud.

The movie begins with Anurag Kashyap saying that it's a just a movie and that he doesn't support the use of drugs, drinking and driving and that it's a fictional story which is debatable because like Dev D he used an actual incident as one of the pivotal moments in the movie, in this case the moment is when 5 kids high on coke, drinks, and generally on life, speed across town and in one of the turns end up killing two people who were on a scooter. They were driving a Hummer.

Anyways, to come back to the timeline of things, the movie begins by shocking you. I know I've watched a number of movies which involve sequences of kisses in front of my parents / relatives without flinching. But I would not be able to watch this movie …
