Gaia - Reverence to Mother Earth


There's a soft breeze blowing in the air,
the leaves are rustling in answer to her call,
the birds are chirping in an harmonious form,
the serenity that you feel rising inside,
the way your heart wants to reach up to the sky,

is just the way we answer the call from nature,

No matter the pent up fury of her wrath,
which we have to face up and accept,
the propensity of her winds, waters and sand,
amaze, frighten and show us all,

in the only way that she can, how much we are hurting her!

for all the waste that we've left to breed,
and the spoils of the sea left afloat,
the corals and the reefs that are nowhere,
the stumps of the cut trees,
bearing the stamp of our cruelties,

So, my dear frieds, let's listen to Gaia, Mother Earth and let us give her respite from all our acts,
and let us together build a wonderful green earth once again!

Karthik Calling Karthik

After having been completely enamored and in love with the song "Uff Teri Adaa" I couldn't wait to watch the movie finally. The end emotion being, a decent watch, but could've been much better. The movie begins with a very stereotypical life of a guy (Farhaan) who's just not got anything going for him, from a landlord who's hounding him for money, to a boss who's blaming him for everything that goes wrong, to the hot co-worker (Deepika) who just doesn't know of his existence at all! The change that comes into his life, is a call, at 5 am each day, by a man who claims to be "Karthik" himself who guides him to becoming the man that he is. A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2" in diameter.He then asked the students if the jar was full.
